A five-year-old, 97-year-old comedy from Steve Martin...

The Underpants - a wild satirical farce adapted by comic genius Steve Martin - is a hilarious, sophisticated adaptation of Carl Sternheim's classic 1910 play about a housewife who becomes an overnight celebrity when she accidentally loses her underpants in public. Her new-found fame terrifies her husband, thrills her neighbor and brings out her own bizzare parade of suitors. Chaos ensues in this witty comedy exploring fame, fidelity, sexuality and hidden desire. Whatever your flavor of funny, you'll find it here: clever repartee, non sequiturs, innuendo and more. Written by Carl Sternheim, adapted by Steve Martin. Produced by special arrangement with Samuel French, Inc. Directed by K.M. Treanor. For mature audiences.

Please note the Saturday evening performance features American Sign Language interpretation.
